Hurling management hope 10 week gap to first Championship clash will favour them.

Management of the Clare Senior Hurlers feel the long gap between their last league outing and their first Championship clash of the summer could work in their favour.

Clare’s last competitive outing came on April 7th, in their loss to Limerick, and Mick O’Dwyer’s men are now in the middle of a ten week wait for their next game against either Cork or Limerick in the provincial semi-final.

However, selector Michael Neylon feels the long gap could suit the side.
