Hurling board to investigate ugly scenes at Minor A final

The Bord na Og Iomaint will investigate the row between opposing mentors and supporters which marred yesterdays county minor A hurling final in Sixmilebridge.

Management from both Clarecastle and Kilmaley were involved in an incident midway through the second half with a seperate  incident involving rival supporters also occuring at the same time.

A Board spokesperson has confirmed to Clare FM that the incidents will be investigated and that the board will await the referees report before decing on any further  course of action.

Kilmaley claimed their first county minor title since 2009 with a last minute sideline cut from Conor Cleary giving them a 1-16 to 1-15 win.
