Clare hurlers at senior and minor level are putting the finishing touches to their preparations for crucial games against Cork this coming week.
Davy Fitzgerald’s side take on Cork in the league play off next Sunday at 3pm in the Gaelic Grounds while Eamon Fenessey’s minor’s are in Pairc Ui Rinn for the Munster Q-final on Thursday.
Conor McGrath could be in the frame to start for the Clare senior hurlers this weekend as they face Cork in the Division one relegation play off.
The Cratloe man came on as a second half substitute during the league loss to Tipperary and could be in line to make his first start of the year against Cork.
Clare have reported no other major injury problems since the Clare cup at the weekend.

Eamon Fenessy’s minor’s get their Munster campaign underway in Pairc Ui Rinn on Thursday night at 7pm as they take on Cork.
The Scariff man will call on a number of last year’s side who lost out to Tipperary in the Munster final while Cork will be looking to atone for their play off defeat to Clare in Cusack park.
