A former Munster and Ireland player believes the IRFU need to re-examine their policy of not offering new contracts to players until the new year.
Performance Director David Nucifora has announced the move yesterday, with the likes of Peter O Mahony, CJ Stander and Johnny Sexton among those whose contracts are up in the summer.
