After nine o’clock tonight, Michael Conlon fights Nordone Oubaali of France in the mens fly quarter final with the winner guaranteed a bronze medal.
On the track at five to eleven Wicklow’s Fionnula Britton runs in the 5000 metres heat while at 12.15 Galways Paul Hession runs in the 200 metres heats.
This evening Derval O’Rourke runs in the 100 metres hurdles semi finals.
Gavin Noble competes in the mens triathlon from 11.30 while the mens 470 sailors are back on the water from 12.30.
