Honan Wants Clare Ruthlessness In Offaly Clash

Clare camogie boss Colm Honan believes that his side have to be more ruthless in closing out games if they are to qualify for the knockout stages of the All Ireland championship.

The Banner beat Derry in last weekend’s opening round by 3-11 to 1-8, but just 0-4 of that came in the second half.

Colm Honan's side travel to Birr for a crucial second round against Offaly tomorrow, and the Clonlara man says that he's looking for more consistency from his side.

And while most of this weekend’s hurling championship action is off, one fixture does go ahead.  Cusack Park is the venue as Broadford take on Scariff in the Senior B Championship from 7:30.
