Clare’s Sean Hehir will bid for more athletics glory this weekend.
The Kilkishen native be part of the Irish team at the World Athletics Championships, and will take part in the marathon on Sunday morning.
Hehir qualified for the event after he was the first Irishman across the line in a personal best time at the London Marathon earlier this year.
