Kilkishen’s Sean Hehir is putting the finishing touches to his preparations for this weekend’s marathon at the European Championships.
The former Dublin Marathon champion is part of a 42-strong Ireland team at the Championships in Berlin, and is one of five Irishmen who will be competing in the 26-mile race on Sunday morning.
This is Hehir’s second European Championships – he finished in 20th in Zurich four years ago – while he also ran for Ireland in last year’s World Championships.
