Kilkishen’s Sean Hehir has been included on the Irish men’s senior team for the 19th SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Budapest.
The Clare man finished 11th in the recent Dublin city marathon is part of a 6 man team which includes
Joe Sweeney of Dundrum South Dublin who won yesterday’s Inter County National Championships in Meath with hehir finishing third.

Lizzie Lee of Leevale, Ava Hutchinson and Linda Byrne from Dundrum South Dublin, Sarah McCormack of Clonliffe Harriers and Sarah Louise Treacy of Moynalvey have all been included in the Irish senior ladies team for 19th SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Budapest.
Last years winner Fionnuala Britton of Wicklow is also included.
