The fixtures for this year’s Heineken Cup Group Stages have been released.
Munster’s campaign will start in Murrayfield on Saturday October 12th against last year’s pool opponents Edinburgh.
Round 2 will see Munster welcome Gloucester to Thomond Park a week later with an evening kick-off time of 6pm.
The back to back games in December include a home start against Perpignan on Sunday December 8th and the return leg six days later in France.
In the New Year Munster travel to Gloucester for round 5, and then complete their pool games at home in Thomond Park for round 6 against Edinburgh.
Connacht will get their first taste of action by welcoming Saracens to the Sportsground on the night of the 11th of October.
At the same time Ulster are at home to Leicester.
The following day Leinster will start their campaign away to Ospreys, while Munster are away to Edinburgh.
