Lahinch Golf Club Lady President Valerie Hassett says it’s a great honour to be elected to the top position in the Irish Ladies Golf Union.
The Ennis woman has been appointed President Elect, with her two year term beginning next January.
This position comes after a career spanning forty years as a player and Manager at provincial and International level, as well as roles as an official and in administration.
Hassett hopes to continue to bring honour to the position.
