Tuamgraney’s Anne Marie Fitzgerald is through to the Ladies Intermediate Singles Munster Final.
Last year’s All-Ireland Junior champion had a 21-2, 21-8 win over Kerry’s Lisa Falvey on Tuesday night, while Mike Kelly of Newmarket was defeated in the Golden (over 50) Masters quarter-final.
Shane Hayes from Clooney is in Munster semi-final action in the Junior B grade on Thursday against David Hickey of Tipperary in Hospital at 8 pm.
Clarecastle’s Declan Frawley will be hoping to retain the Munster Junior Singles title he won last year and he plays Corkman Donnacha O’Dea on Friday in the provincial semi in Hospital.
That fixture will follow the refixed Minor Singles quarter-final between Kilkishen’s Christopher Philpott and Eamon Davoren (Limerick) at 8pm.
