Clare will name their team later for Sunday’s Munster hurling showdown with Limerick in Cusack Park.

It is expected that Shane Meehan will return to the matchday squad, after recovering from a hamstring issue that has delayed his senior championship debut.

A win for Clare would put Brian Lohan’s side in touching distance of the Munster final, but Clare’s place in the All Ireland series will be guaranteed regardless should Waterford beat Cork in Walsh Park.
