Grogan Confident New Clare Camogie Stars Will Boost Senior Panel

One of Clare’s new joint captains is confident the newcomers to the senior camogie squad will bed in quickly.

The 2024 National League begins for John Carmody’s side tomorrow in Cusack Park as they host reigning champions Galway.

A number of the side who won the All Ireland Junior title last year are expected to make their senior debuts, while familiar faces such as Chloe Morey, Niamh O’Dea and Clare Hehir will not be available for the coming weeks.

Clooney-Quin’s Ciara Grogan will joint captain the side with Truagh-Clonlara’s Aine O’Loughlin this year, and says its up to players coming into the squad to show what they can do.

Throw in tomorrow in Cusack Park is at 2pm while the intermediate side host Galway in Inagh at 12pm.
