Former Dubai Duty Free Irish Open champion Jon Rahm will return for the 2019 instalment in Lahinch.
The former World number two delivered his maiden European Tour victory in Portstewart two years ago after a closing round of 65 ensured a six shot victory.
Rahm returned to Donegal’s Ballyliffin Golf Club last year finishing fourth and will start among the favourites.

While the 24-year-old Spaniard didn’t make the cut in this year’s US Masters and PGA Championship, he did finish in the top four in both events in 2018.
