Clare’s Fidelma Marrinan has claimed the Zu Car Golden Boot for 2023.
The prize is awarded to the highest scorer across all grades in the All – Ireland Ladies Football Championship, with the West Clare Gael’s woman accumulating a total of 5-38 in six outings to claim the coveted accolade.

Although Clare suffered an agonising defeat to Kildare in the recent All -Ireland Intermediate decider, Marrinan’s unerring accuracy saw her finish as top scorer on the day, with 1-5 to her name.
Kilmurry Ibrickane’s Chloe Moloney meanwhile finished seventh in the national scoring charts racking up a total of 4-16 throughout the season.
