Glynn pipped at post again at Cheltenham

 

Spancilhill trainer Noel Glynn has seen his big Cheltenham hope, Becauseicouldntsee, finish second in this afternoon’s Kim Muir Handicap Chase.

The Jonjo O’Neill trained Sunnyhill Boy has won the race in the past few minutes, but Clare’s big festival hope kept up the chase throughout and led for large portions of the race.

It’s the second time that BecauseICouldntSee has achieved a second placed finish at the Cheltenham festival.

‘ Big Buck’s ‘ has won a fourth consecutive World Hurdle which was the feature race on day three of the Cheltenham Festival.

The Paul Nicholls trained favourite held off the challenge of ‘ Voler la Vedette ‘ while ‘ Smad Place ‘ came home in third place.

The four-time champion has now won 16th races in a row at this level.
