Gavin to head up Dub Footballers while Daly confirmed as hurling manager for 2013

Jim Gavin has been appointed Dublin football manager.

The former Round Towers wing forward won All Ireland under 21 titles as manager in 2010 and 2012 and was part of the backroom team in 2002 when the Dubs also won the under 21 title.

His team of selectors will be confirmed at a latter date.

Anthony Daly will stay on as Dublin hurling manager for 2013 with Richie Stakelum and Ciaran Hetherton staying on as selectors.
