Gavin tipped to replace Gilroy

Jim Gavin is the early favourite to takeover as Dublin manager following the departure of Pat Gilroy last night.

Gavin steered the under 21’s to  All Irelands in 2010 and 2012.

Gilroy says he wanted to spend more time with his family and concentrate on his career following a successful 4 year stint that saw them win an all Ireland and 3 Leinster titles.
