Former Chairman of the Clare and District Soccer League Donie Garrihy is expected to be ratified as the new manager of the Clare Oscar Traynor side in the coming weeks.

While it had been anticipated that the role would be filled at last night's EGM, this did not occur and the position remains vacant for now.
However, the CDSL says Garrihy is the only candidate in the running for the position and that he is currently finalising his backroom team before talking to the committee.
It's expected he'll be ratified in the next two weeks.
