St Breckan’s manager Donie Garrihy is warning his side that they will need to improve if they are to keep their championship ambitions on track.
The North Clare side overcame neighbours Corofin to get themselves back into contention for a place in this years senior football quarter-finals.
They will do that if they avoid defeat against Miltown in their final round tie, but Garrihy says their performance at the weekend won’t be good enough in two weeks time
Meanwhile, Kilmihil manager Gerry Downes admits Cratloe’s greater experience was a telling factor after they suffered a second loss of the season.
A strong second half showing saw the south-east Clare men over the line, with Cathal McInerney’s goal effectively killing off the contest.
Downes says they will learn plenty from it ahead of a winner takes all battle against Doora Barefield in the final round.
