Tributes Paid To Banner Football Hero

GAA clubs across Clare are paying tribute to a Banner football hero following his untimely passing.

St Senan’s Kilkee clubman Michael O’Shea passed away yesterday at the age of 37 following a battle with cancer.

He made his debut for Clare in 1999 and wore the saffron and blue for over 15 years while he also captained his county to McGrath Cup success in 2008.

Michael also won two Clare Senior Football Championship titles with his native Kilkee in 2003 and 2005 while he was also part of the Clare U21 management in recent years.
