Clare’s ladies footballers have been praised by their captain despite suffering a heartbreaking defeat in the All-Ireland intermediate quarter-final.
Four late points allowed Tipperary win 1-13 to 2-8 in Staker Wallace yesterday and book a last four meeting with Sligo.
Despite two previous defeats to their Munster rivals, this was the closest Clare came to shocking the championship favourites.
