Kilmihil’s Ailish Considine says Irish athletes playing in the Australian Football League are in an extremely uncertain predicament.

Like many countries, Australia has curtailed sporting activity as a means of containing the spread of COVID-19, which has also seen pay cuts for professional Aussie Rules players.

Dozens of Irish men and women are contracted to teams across Australia but things are up in the air with visa issues arising where their employment has come to a halt.
