Sixmilebridge Strike In Third Quarter To Win Under 16 Hurling Title

Two late goals for Corofin/Ruan couldn’t save their domestic double ambitions today as Sixmilebridge were crowned 2-17 to 3-12 winners in the under 16A hurling final.

David Kennedy and Noel Flynn got the goals for the Bridge as they overturned a two-point interval deficit in Clarecastle.

Corofin/Ruan, fresh off their minor success last week, led 1-8 to 1-6 thanks to Adam O’Loughlin’s goal but went behind during the third quarter.
