The draw for the county senior hurling quarter-finals will take place this evening after four more teams booked their place this weekend.

Cratloe were 1-16 to 0-12 winners over Kilmaley in Cusack Park yesterday.

A Billy Connors goal on 36 minutes inspired last year’s runners-up to overturn an early six point deficit.

On Saturday, Éire Óg were the first Round 3 winners as they beat Newmarket-on-Fergus 2-13 to 1-14 in Cusack Park.

The second scheduled game on that card was moved to Sixmilebridge due to a burst water main but it didn’t disturb Ballyea who overcame Wolfe Tones by 2-24 to 0-14.

And Feakle produced the result of the weekend getting the better of Clooney/Quin by 3-17 to 1-21.

Feakle boss Michael Guilfoyle paid tribute to his small squad including returning duo James Noonan and Stevie Conway.
