County Junior Hurling Championship Up And Running

The County Junior Hurling Championships commence this weekend.

Crusheen were 5-13 to 0-7 winners over Ennistymon in Group 1 of the A championship yesterday evening in Ruan.

Clonlara and Ballyea meet in Newmarket today at 2pm, while O’Callaghan’s Mills take on Clooney/Quin at 7pm in Tulla.

There are three matches in Group 2. Broadford and Wolfe Tones begin at 2pm in Meelick, Kilmaley take on Meelick at the same time in Shannon. And at 7pm this evening, it’s Ogonnelloe versus Inagh/Kilnamona at Gurteen.

The Junior B action gets underway in Group 3 at 1.30pm when Éire Óg face Clarecastle in Clooney.

Cratleo take on Sixmilebridge in Group 2 at 2pm in Clonlara.

And Tulla meet Parteen in the Group 1 fixture at 7.30pm in Kilkishen.

And in the preliminary round of the Junior C hurling championship, Kilkee-Bealaha and Ruan throw-in at 5.30pm in Ballyea.
