Clare’s Munster League captain thinks their opening round victory was reward for their efforts over the 70 minutes.

They beat Tipperary 2-17 to 1-19 in Nenagh yesterday to give themselves a strong chance of making the final.

The Banner trailed the Premier County for most of the second half before finishing with four consecutive scores.
