It’s a bumper day of action in the senior hurling championship preliminary quarter-finals with three games down for decision.

First up at 2pm is the clash of Éire Óg and Newmarket-on-Fergus.

The 3.45pm meeting between Ballyea and Wolfe Tones has been MOVED to Sixmilebridge.

The final game in the triple header is a repeat of the 2017 meeting of Clooney/Quin and Feakle.

There’s also two senior hurling relegation semi-finals today.

Whitegate face last year’s county semi-finalists O’Callaghan’s Mills in Broadford at 3pm.

While Clarecastle and Tulla go head-to-head in Sixmilebridge at 6pm.

The four intermediate hurling championship round three ties also throw in this afternoon.

Newmarket hosts a double header starting with Inagh/Kilnamona against Cratloe at 1.30pm.

Corofin and Sixmilebridge will begin their tie at 3pm.

And in Tulla, Parteen take on Killanena with a 2.30pm start time.

The second game sees St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield and Bodyke collide at 4pm.

In the relegation play-offs, Ruan and Éire Óg will battle to confirm their intermediate status in Ballyea at 6pm.

There’s also two quarter-finals in the Junior A Championship.

Crusheen and Kilmaley is the contest in Ruan at 3pm. And that’s followed in Meelick at 6pm by Clonlara vs Broadford.

And there’s a Junior A Football quarter-final replay this evening in Ennistymon.

Ballyvaughan and Killimer get underway at 5.30pm.
