A former St. Joseph’s Miltown Malbay manager thinks their victory in the Munster senior football quarter-final will harden the squad’s resolve for future tests.

The Clare champions needed extra-time to overcome Waterford’s Rathgormack and now face Clonmel Commericals in this Sunday’s semi-final.

The Tipperary powerhouses ran out easy winners over JK Brackens in their county final the previous day.
