Kildysart’s joint captain Conor Donnellan has described what winning the under 21B football championship means to him and his family.

His grandfather John Joe Hehir from Clondegad passed away in 1998 and the Cup is named in his memory.

It was also the last year that Kildysart won this competition before finally ending a 21-year famine when they beat Wolfe Tones 3-11 to 1-5 in Cusack Park yesterday.
