Clondegad vs Cratloe – The Build Up

Two title contenders go head-to-head in Cusack Park today in the second part of a double header.

After Doonbeg and Ennistymon clash at 12pm, the 2016 and 2017 finalists meet in the first Group D encounter that also contains the fancied Eire Og.

The teams met last September when Cratloe prevailed by one point but Clondegad reached the recent Cusack Cup Final.

Throw-in at Cusack Park is 1.45pm and we’ll have live coverage here on Clare FM.

Clondegad’s Gary Brennan says they have a limited number of contests and each one is important.

Cratloe manager Colm Collins says that might give their opponents an advantage.

Kilmurry/Ibrickane have won the opening game of the 2019 County Senior Football Championship.

Aiden Moloney’s side edged out Lissycasey by 0-9 to 0-7 in Kilmihil.

Clare FM’s Derek Dormer reports.

And defending champions St. Joseph’s Miltown Malbay are also into the winners’ enclosure.

David O’Brien’s team beat Kilmihil 1-16 to 1-12 in Cooraclare.
