Duggan Wary Of Waterford Threat

Clare All-Star Peter Duggan admits the Banner’s first match of this year’s Championship, away to Waterford, will be difficult.

There’s just ten days until the beginning of the 2019 Munster Championship, with the game against the Deise marking the beginning of proceedings.

After being forced to play their home matches on the road last year, Clare’s visit to Walsh Park marks the first major Championship game there in over 20 years.

Clare were also handed a heavy defeat at the same venue when the sides met in the League Quarter-Finals in March, and Clooney-Quin man Duggan says they’ll now focus on making amends.
