Anthony Daly has publicly ruled himself out of the running to become the next Clare Senior Hurling Manager.

Writing in The Irish Examiner, the Clarecastle man has said that he’s not willing to return to Clare “at the moment,” adding that he is “unsure” if he could work with a number of top County Board officials.

The former All-Ireland winning captain also states that he wouldn’t be involved in any backroom team of Brian Lohan, one of those who has been most strongly linked with the position, and criticises the process to date, saying outgoing co-manager Donal Moloney has been “treated disgracefully.”
