GAA President to close Kilmurry Ibrickane Centenary Celebrations

The President of the GAA Liam O'Neill is in the Banner County this afternoon as he visits Pairc Naomh Mhuire in Quilty where Kilmurry Ibrickane bring their centenary celebrations to a close.

A garden of rememberance in honour of all deceased members of the club will be opened, before the President launches the book of the clubs history, while the Munster Club winning sides of 2004 & 2009 along with the Feile winning side of 2000 and four in a row Cusack Cup champions will all be honoured.

Proceedings are underway in Quilty at 2.30pm.
