The GAA has apologised for an error which saw Clare omitted from the roll of honour in the official match programme for this years All Ireland hurling final.
On the day when the All Ireland winning Banner sides of 1995 and 1997 were being honoured as the jubilee guests, Clare’s four titles were absent from the list printed in the publication.
A statement from the GAA identified an editing error as being the reason for it, and apologised in particular to the group who were being remembered on the day.
Clare were joined by the 1996 All Ireland winners from Wexford as special guests on the day in Croke Park.
An error in the editing process meant @GaaClare‘s four All-Ireland SHC titles were ommitted from the role of honour in the All-Ireland SHC Final programme. #GAABelong
