A hard fought 1-6 to 1-4 over Roscommon for the third time, with Ailish Considine’s first half goal proving the crucial score of the game.
The result saw Clare turn the tables on last year’s final loss to Kildare, with Ciara McCarthy kicking two points after her second half introduction from the bench.
