One of the most recognisable figures in Clare soccer has announced his retirement from refereeing.
Ennis native Frankie Coote is blowing the whistle on his time in the middle after almost 30 years of officiating games across the county.

Along with taking charge of games on the pitch, Frankie also held several officers roles, including as Clare Referees chairman.
He says he has some fond memories from his time involved in the game.
