There are four contests for positions on the executive of Clare GAA for 2023.
This year’s Annual Convention will be held on Wednesday December 14th
Chairman Kieran Keating and vice-chair Michael O’Connor are to be returned unopposed to their positions, along with assistant secretary Deirdre Chaplin and treasurer Rebecca Sexton.
There will be a contest for the assistant treasurer’s role, with Doora Barefield’s Caroline O’Connor taking on the current postholder, Cooraclare’s Sean Chambers.
PRO Ann Hayes is set to continue for another year, with Cooraclare’s Joe Garry and Doora Barefield’s Martin Moloney nominated for the position of Irish and Cultural Officer.
The race for the position of coaching officer is between Cratloe’s Flan O’Reilly and Neil O’Brien of O’Callaghan’s Mills.
Two former chairmen face off for the Central Council delegate position, with Ballyea’s Michael O’Neill going up against Robert Frost of O’Callaghan’s Mills.
