Former Scottish International Calls for “Horrible Reception” for McCarthy & McGeady

Ireland will train in Dublin this morning in preparation for Friday nights Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland in Glasgow.

We may find out this afternoon if  James McCarthy will be available,  the Everton midfielder is nursing a hamstring injury that makes him a serious doubt.

Ahead of Friday's game, former Scotland international Gordon McQueen has said that he hopes that the Scottish-born pair of Aiden McGeady and James McCarthy get a "horrible reception" from the home fans.

But another former Scottish international, Pat Nevin doesn't expect any kind of trouble.
