The Football Review Committee have unveiled their recommendations for the sport.
The proposals include the introduction of the mark system for catches of kick outs outside the 45, the replacement of any player who receives a yellow card but not allowing any replacement after a third yellow card is given to any team.
They’ve also recommended that all adult club games go from 60 to 70 minutes in duration and that a public time clock be introduced for all provincial and All Ireland series games.
The report also recommends a recruitment drive of former inter county players for refereeing and clarification of the tackle.
The hand pass is something they say should be monitored closely but at present their is no need to limit the amount of hand passes in a row.
