Clare's involvement in next week's Munster Under-21 Hurling Final means the full details of this weekend's planned fixtures in the Clare Senior Football Championship has yet to be decided.
With players due to line out for their clubs and the county side, the county's CCC had to deal with a fixtures pile-up when they met last night.
In the end, it was decided that five of the eight planned games will go ahead this weekend – St. Breckan's will take on Lissycasey, Clondegad will face Shannon Gaels, O'Curry's will meet St. Senan's Kilkee, Kilmurry Ibrickane will meet Cratloe while Kilrush will face St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield.
A decision on the games between Eire Og and Ennistyon and Coooraclare and Wolfe Tones will be made at a reconvened meeting tonight, while it's already been decided that Doonbeg will take on St. Joseph's Miltown the following weekend.
