Football Action To Get Underway

This weekend’s Clare Football Championship action begins tonight with one game in the Intermediate competition.

Cooraclare plays host to the meeting of St. Joseph’s Miltown and Kilmurry Ibrickane from 7:45.

Tomorrow sees three games in the Clare Senior Championship, including a double header in Doonbeg.

Kilmurry Ibrickane face O’Currys from 3:00 while Kilrush Shamrocks meet St. Senan’s from 4:45. Tomorrow’s other game, between Lissycasey and St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield, throws in in Miltown Malbay at 6:00.

Meanwhile, the latest County Board fundraising Draw takes place this evening. The draw for the month of August will be held live on Sideline View from 6 pm.

Kilmurry Ibrickane Ladies Football Club have launched their Inaugural All Ireland Under 16 7’s competition.

32 Club teams from across the country will gather in West Clare on September 7th for the event.

West Clare Gaels, The Banner and host club Kilmurry Ibrickane will provide the banner representation, while games will be held across 4 different venues on the day – Quilty GAA Field, Mullagh Sports Field, Miltown Malbay GAA Field and Kilmihil GAA field.
