The Ennis school trailed their opponents by eight points at half-time in Rathkeale, 0-10 to 0-02, but fought back to narrow the gap in the second half.
However, two late goals gave a one-sided look to the scoreboard at full-time, when the game finished 2-12 to 0-9 in favour of the Kerry outfit.
