Both Clare schools in Dr. Harty Cup action today have rescued draws in their opening rounds.
St.Flannan’s College were in action against Nenagh CBS in Moylish and despite trailing by ten points at the break, the 2020 Champions produced a stunning comeback with green flags from Graham Ball and Thomas O’Connor leaving the full time score at 2-18 to 1-21.
St.Joseph’s Tulla meanwhile came from six down at the break to secure a draw with Cork’s North Monastery on a full-time score of 1-16 to 0-19, with 0-14 coming from the stick of Clooney Quin’s Matthew Corbett.
The other game in that group saw Ardscoil Rís with a strong Clare contingent overcoming Cashel Community School by 2-23 to 2-15
