Fixture Details Confirmed For Clare’s Munster Championship Openers

Fixture details have been confirmed for Clare's Munster Championship openers in 2017.

Both the senior hurlers and footballers get their summer underway against neighbours Limerick

Donal Moloney and Gerry O'Connor will make their championship debut as joint managers when they take on Limerick in Thurles on June 4th in the provincial semi final.

If they get through, the Munster Hurling Final is set for July 9th.

The footballers get the championship underway with a home quarter final against Limerick on the weekend of May 27th.

The winners meet Kerry on the weekend of June 10th.

John Carmody's first game as Clare U21 Hurling boss come in the form of a trip to take on either Tipperary or Limerick on July 12th.

The footballers travel to Tralee to face Kerry on March 8th.

The minor hurlers get underway with a home clash against Waterford on April 5th, with the footballers crossing the Shannon to face Kerry a week later.

The draws were also made for football's McGrath Cup, with Clare drawn in Group Two against Limerick and Waterford.

They host Waterford on January 8th before travelling to the Gaelic Grounds on the 11th.
