Following the success of Cratloe’s Footballers this year, a number of the county’s hurlers have indicated that they may also seek to line out for the Clare footballers, and earlier this week football manager Colm Collins told Clare FM that he hoped this could happen.
Davy Fitzgerald has confirmed he won’t be issuing any ban on dual players but, in an interview on Clare FM’s Morning Focus, the All Ireland Winning Hurling Manager says he doesn’t believe inter-county stars can play both codes.
