Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald is standing over the comments he made about referee’s following last month’s league semi final loss to Kilkenny.
Referee Alan Kelly was severely criticised by Fitzgerald in his post match interview,accusing the official of treating him "like dirt" and also questioned a number of decision that were awarded against the Div 1B league champions
Fitzgerald was criticised for his comments following the match but speaking to Clare FM the Sixmilebridge man said he isn’t bothered by public opinion:
