Clare senior hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald says his side have begun to step-up preparations for the 2015 Championship opener.

The Banner meet Limerick in the Munster Quarter Final on May 24th, with the winner facing Tipperary in the last four.
Fitzgerald's side have played a number of challenge games in the last few weeks, including against Donal Moloney’s U21's in Clareabbey last evening.
The Sixmilebridge man says while there were positives to take from the performance against Kilkenny in the League relegation final, they're looking to improve ahead of the championship.
