Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald says he expects his team’s All Ireland celebrations to take their toll during the early part of the season.

The Sixmilebridge man and his charges are preparing for Friday’s Waterford Crystal Cup Final with Tipperary, and for the National League which begins with a clash at home to Kilkenny on Sunday week.
While the early-season competition has gone well for the Clare hurlers, Fitzgerald admits that he doesn’t think this will continue.
